Connect e-conomic
Connect e-conomic so the app can create customers, products, and order documents in your company agreement.
Connect for the first time
- Open Integration home or Setup wizard step 2.
- Click Connect e-conomic (opens e-conomic in a new tab).
- Sign in to e-conomic and approve access for this app.
- Return to Shopify; the app saves the connection for your shop automatically.
When connected, Integration home shows Connected.
Reconnect
Use Reconnect e-conomic if:
- You revoked the app in e-conomic
- The app shows Revoked with a message to reconnect
- Sync fails with authorization errors from e-conomic
Reconnecting refreshes the saved e-conomic connection. Your sync settings and field mappings are kept on the Shopify app side.
Connection states
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Connected | e-conomic connection is saved; sync can run |
| Not connected | Install complete but authorization not finished |
| Revoked | e-conomic rejected the connection; reconnect required |
| Server config (rare) | App setup needs attention — contact app support |
Reference data in settings
After connecting, dropdowns in Sync settings can load from e-conomic:
- Product groups
- Customer groups
- VAT zones
- Payment terms
- Invoice layouts
If dropdowns are empty, fix the connection first. A warning may appear in the wizard when reference data could not be loaded.
Security notes
- The e-conomic connection is stored per Shopify shop and protected by the app.
- Only your shop’s connection is used for that shop’s sync.
- Do not share screenshots that include tokens, payment details, or customer personal data.
Troubleshooting connection
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Connect button does nothing | Allow pop-ups; complete flow in the new tab |
| Still “Not connected” after approving | Refresh Integration home; run Connect again |
| “Revoked” immediately after connect | Check e-conomic app permissions and agreement status |
| Dropdowns empty in settings | Reconnect; verify the app has access to your e-conomic agreement |
